"I'd go barefoot all the time if I could."

We hear that sentiment ALL the time! Really. You CAN go barefoot much more often -- even in public! This site has tons of resources to help society become more "barefoot friendly," but you must begin with your own two feet.

comfort & bare feet

Going barefoot is, arguably, more comfortable than any shoes you can wear. That good feeling can extend beyond your home.

It's happened to each one of us: At the end of the long day, we kick off our shoes and feel immediate freedom in our feet. Our toes don't have to be crimped up any more and our skin can breathe. We can feel the floor beneath us, whether it's carpet, tile, wood, or something else.

The comfort of going barefoot at home can go outside your front door and to the places you visit each day. Give it a chance and you'll find a wonderful mixture of sensations that shoes could never provide. Sure, sandals are more comfortable than shoes, but barefoot is even better!
